Gravitational Fool took to the sky over Lucerne Valley in December.  We didn't quite get a full tank of gas on the MAX-M hybrid so it only reached an altitude of about 2000 ft.  Nose cone took minor damage on deployment.  The booster was used for a 16 lb. bowling ball loft project called Shock-N-Awe for Springfest 2003.

This is the fincan and the nose cone for Gravitational Fool.  Locals will remember this as the nose cone from The Quick and the Dead.  After a variety of experiments, including drywall compound, it now has the shape of a REAL nose cone.

The fincan has a central 98mm mount circled by 8 38mm mounts.  This is the largest motor configuration I could get into the 8.75" QuickTube.

Here is a night shot of the raw assembled parts.  The booster glows because the glass has been lightly sanded.
